Lynbrook Downhole Design
|
A Cross Section of the Patented Lynbrook “Flow-Thru” Element Design Shows the Complex Heated Surface Profile (in Red) Surrounded by the Insulating Shroud (in Green) Installed in the Well Casing (Black). This Patented Design Assures That the Fluid Stream Will Pass Close By a Heated Surface to Maximize Heat Transfer per Foot of Length While the Insulating Shroud Assures that Energy is Focused on the Fluid Stream and Not Wasted in Non-Productive Areas of the Annulus

A Downhole Heating Element Consists of Three or More Heating Sections (on Left) Which are Connected by Mixing Chambers ( 2 on Right) that Equalize Temperature and Pressure Between the Multiple Fluid Paths. Lynbrook Heating Elements are Designed for Installation in Wells with 5-1/2 or 7 Inch Casings and are Currently Available in 35 & 75 KW Ratings (for 5-1/2” Casing) and in 120 & 180 KW Ratings (for 7” Casing) |

Every Lynbrook Downhole Heating Element Contains an Integrated Pressure and Temperature Sensor Package (in Green) Consisting of 3 Temperature and 2 Temperature Sensors. Lynbrook Also Offers an Optional Surface Sensor Package that Can be Mounted in the Flow Line Near the Well Head. These Sensors Continuously Communicate with the Logic Circuit Contained in the Surface Controller which Regulates the Power Delivered Downhole to the Heating Element to Continuously Maintain the Optimum Fluid Stream Temperature. Data From All Sensors is Stored in the Surface Controller for up to One Year, Providing a Valuable Tool for Engineering Analysis. |
